Health and Safety Management

Health and Safety management is always at the forefront of how we operate at PT Ground Solutions. All of our projects are designed and managed to minimise the risk of serious injury or ill-health to our staff and our subcontractors. 

 

PT Ground Solutions have highly experienced engineers, who can provide Health and Safety advice and on site supervision and audits. Our engineers have relevant Health and Safety training and qualifications, including:

• First Aid.

• IOSH - Safe Supervision of Geotechnical Sites.

• CITB - Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) / Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS). 

• ​HSG47 - Avoiding Danger from Underground Services.

• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).

• National Grid Person - Overhead Lines.

• Vehicle Marshall.

• Asbestos Awareness.

• Environmental Awareness.

All of our projects are carefully planned with the aim of identifying hazards prior to attending site. We produce comprehensive Health and Safety Plans, which provide detailed site information, including critical emergency procedures and hazard identification. All site personnel must follow safe working procedures and review risk assessments prior to attending site. These are then reviewed on site to ensure they are suitable and relevant prior to the commencement of works.

Our experienced project managers regularly attend our sites to review working procedures and carryout audits of our staff and subcontractors. These help to identify areas which may require improvements and they will often feed into the Principal Contractor's CDM management procedures.
